I’m giving it four stars though because I loved the first game and I really want the developers to create more visual novels like the first. Alter Ego is an interesting game regardless, and it’s worth playing to experience a completely realistic mundane even setting in video games done right. I mean the first game talked about amazing subjects like ego and ID and it was all so enlightening, but this visual novel talks about how Es is obsessed(?) with the wanderer. This novel focuses on a romantic relationship between Es and the wanderer, and as a female player I honestly don’t have a problem with that, but the gameplay and the visual parts were honestly reallyyy boring. Despite this, the Thai side held on in the last round to tie the series at 1-2 with the 13-11 victory over AE Celeste the first map win over the Indonesian side ever recorded throughout this tournament. It functions almost like an extended personality test, with it asking you all manner of challenging questions. Alter Ego Celeste then began chipping away at the deficit, tying the game at 6-6 before another back-and-forth, this time in a three-round set. When I heard a second game was coming out, I was really excited to play it and I thought the novel would be similar to the first, but I realize the developers chose to go into a different direction with this visual novel. Alter Ego S is a new visual novel coming to Switch in Japan in Spring 2020. It was so incredibly interesting because I’ve never heard of a self-discovery game before. The 98 Degrees singer and his three children moved to Hawaii after his wife, Vanessa Lachey, landed a major role on NCIS: Hawaii. I bought this game because I absolutely fell in love with the first one.
